Photographer recommendations

I have two incredible photographer recommendations for you. Why not a list? I’ve selected two (and only two) photographers because I have used them both myself and can, without hesitation, highly recommend them both.

Alana Taylor

Alana is one of those people you meet and think “are we instant friends?!”. Fun, bright and bubbly, Alana effortlessly leads you through a photo session with prompts that create natural photographs. Alana took photos of my sister and I years ago, and I was struck by how generous she was with her time and how comfortable she made us both. Alana is incredibly passionate about what she does and an overwhelming amount of her reviews mention how special it was to have Alana’s warm presence with them on their wedding day. Alana is fun and genuine and my god, can she capture emotion. If warm, light-filled photos make you swoon, Alana is your gal.

Eliza Jade

Firstly, Eliza is the sweetest, most likeable person ever. She’ll win you over immediately with her thoughtful and considerate approach. Eliza took my partner (Dan) and my engagement photos and was clear with her instructions and had a laugh with us along the way. Dan and I felt comfortable the entire time we were with her. Eliza was flexible and gave good advice on the day of our shoot - she advised that we change location last minute due to bad winds in our original spot. Thank goodness she did because we would have both looked like a windswept mess in our photos otherwise. The second location Eliza suggested for us was as good, if not better than, our original location. Dan and I were completely blown away by the gallery Eliza sent to us. Somehow she managed to capture the essence of our relationship and gave us gorgeous photos we will treasure forever.
